In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I used to learn tabla when I was in 3rd grade. I remember that my guruji was very strict about tempo and tone of the instrument.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? EXCISE DEPT, SAB KUCH MIL GAYA MUJHE VOL 1 Kanye West, 808s & Heartbreak Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly These albums inspire me to create new music and find my own sound. I very much like Excise Dept because they make indian music and blend it with hip-hop which is really unique.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Corporate” This is my first solo project. I love how honestly it captures corporate life in metro cities, with a delivery and beat switch that bring the story to life. It’s part of my debut EP, Zero Crossing, about life’s transitions and how we navigate them.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I won my first rap competition at Mood Indigo, Asia's largest college festival, in 2024. It was a truly memorable moment for me because that day I decided to pursue music seriously and start releasing projects independently.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are many things I still want to achieve, but if I had to name one, it would be performing at the Apple Music Super Bowl event. Once I do that, I'll feel like I've truly succeeded in my mission.
