In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a kid, music was always in our home. My parents loved all kinds of music and my mom even tried learning piano, but never grasped it. I grew up on classic rock and outlaw country with my dad, and ’90s country female artists with my mom.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chris Stapleton, Traveller Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pronounced Leh-Nerd Skin-Nerd Treaty Oak Revival, No Vacancy These 3 albums span genres but feel like pure art. No Vacancy is raw, memorable, and impressive for a debut. Traveller hooked me in high school with its gritty storytelling. Pronounced shaped my roots—Skynyrd’s influence still lives in my sound.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Singing “Can’t You See” with Zac Brown at my first amphitheater and arena shows was unreal—but then touring with The Marshall Tucker Band and joining Doug Gray on stage took it to another level. Those will always hold a special place in my heart.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My biggest bucket list item is to play the Grand Ole Opry in front of my Papa. As a kid, he’d listen to it on a porch radio every Saturday night. Standing in that circle with him watching would be a full-circle moment for our family.
