Born in Cartagena in 1998 as Zaide Junior Peralta Martínez, Zaider is a Colombian singer of Latin urban music. Passionate about champeta (a Colombian folk genre of Afro-Caribbean origins), he began performing at age 14, released his first single "Te Va A Doler" in 2015, and quickly found success at the local, and even national, level. His international profile received a considerable boost in 2024 when he was signed by Sony Music and began incorporating Afrobeat elements into his sound. That same year, he achieved some of his biggest hits with "Madrid" and "El Truquito," and especially "Vive La Vida - Remix" featuring Blessd.
