After settling in Nashville, singer/songwriter Steve Earle presented his debut album to the world in 1986. Titled Guitar Town, the rockabilly-styled project shot to the top of the Billboard country charts. Since then, Earle has clocked over 15 long-players, with his honeyed voice proving a natural fit for roots rock and folk-leaning backdrops. A testament to his songwriting, Earle's compositions have also been recorded by heavyweights of the scene like Emmylou Harris, Johnny Cash, and Waylon Jennings.
