Poco may have never gotten as big as the Eagles, but their heavenly mix of twang and pop made them a primary influence on the group, as well as for just about every other country-rock act of ‘70s (singer/bassist Timothy B. Schmit even went on to become an Eagle himself). On early tunes like "A Good Feelin' to Know," they mixed hard-swinging country with road-ready rock 'n' roll riffs, while tracks like "Crazy Love" illustrated their golden pop sensibilities. But whichever road Poco took, their heaven-sent vocal harmonies were always the heart and soul of their sound.
