Big Gigantic’s beats pack a festival-sized punch, but the Boulder duo has always stood out from its main-stage peers. Even at the peak of EDM’s heyday, tracks like 2014’s “Touch the Sky” balanced cascading snare rolls and dubstep snarl with horn charts and sax solos. Their music has just gotten more diverse, taking in bare-knuckled funk (“Get On Up”), glittery nu-disco (“The Night Is Young”), and Southern-tinged R&B (“Miss Primetime”).
