About Hindusthan Record
In the early 1930s Hindusthan Record with a young shepherd boy playing the flute as its emblem, made its first foray into the music universe.
Dr. Rabindranath Tagore inaugurated Hindusthan Studios with the first song *‘Tabu Mone Rekho’*.
The label attracted legendary artistes namely, Pankaj Mallick, S.D.Burman, Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan to name a few.
The most popular artist on the label is superstar K.L. Saigal. (From the label)
