About Rakun
Rakun was founded in 2005 by members of the major Turkish rock band mor ve ötesi. The Istanbul-based label has been responsible for launching the careers of indie acts such as Sakin, Gren, and Simge Pınar, all to critical acclaim. Rakun supports an eclectic mix of artists with a focus on breaking alternative rock and singer-songwriter music. (From the label)
