THINGS THEY SHOULDN'T
by Marian Aas Hansen
I know of a girl who never tells the truth
I don't know her age but she's in her youth
She's married and have one, or two or three kids,
I don't know
But she's banging her boss at the office,
or at least they've told me so
All the things we talk about
None of our business, but we like to shout it out
Heard a story of a man that was pretty good
He was doing as many as he could
Besides his wife it was all her friends and sisters too
And on his list was her mum, and her mum and who knows who else...
All the things we talk about
None of our business, but we like to shout it out
Have you heard the news?
Someone's been seduced
How come people do the things they shouldn't
If they knew then, what they know now...
The moral of this story is
That I have none
We all just try to live our lives the best way,
But turn around and it's gone
Some wanna make the most of
Ev'ry minute of their lives,
And sometimes what they do is wrong, but
sometimes it's alright
All the things we talk about
None of our business, but we like to shout it out
Have you heard the news?
Someone's been seduced
How come people do the things they shouldn't
If they knew then, what they know now,
What would there be to talk about..?
Have you heard...
I guess they wish they wouldn't
Or would they
If I knew then what I know now ...
