I still remember these streets

How they used to say, be free

Live the good life in paradise

I remember when I was a young kid, back in my teenage years

I remember shining like the sun did, spaces were green 'round here

But things change, I was raised in a place that used to love me and differences would show me the way

But it changed to a place where if I'm not after money, the system wants to throw me away

But I just need some space, to breathe, I still remember these streets

How they used to say, be free, live the good life, in paradise

I need space to breathe, space to make beats and create my dream

I remember when I was a teen uncovering the spaces, discovering the scene

But it's disencouraging to see

Corporate greed made the city like a theme park

What's the core belief behind more police

That's gonna swarm the streets I mean really

It's a damn pity seeing Amsterdam city go from really damn pretty right to pretty damn shitty

I hope you understand and you wanna stand with me

Cause it's getting busy and it's getting kind of gritty

To keep the money out and show em what we all about
