What’s the distance you’d go

To prove that you love me

Would you see if the ice holds

Words so idle sour the time

I say farewell to Prudence

And my heart grows

Cold with the night

And in this way I’ll gladly waste

The days of then, now and to come

The rain hits hard on the panes

The old devil moon haunts me through the night

Among the cities alive with music

Just to remind how

We don’t belong
