Dumb Luck

I travel the world zooming in and out

I run a DSL from an ISP now

No jet lag ever held me down

No missing bag making carousel rounds

A piece of paper don't qualify me

Got nothing to show for a third degree

But a head real heavy with uncertainties

And no strong opinions when I disagree

Gettin' by on dumb luck

This dumb luck

For me

Don't roll the dice but I'll leave to chance

Things that happen due to circumstance

Seem to have a knack when it all works well

And other times it's gone to hell

Because of my dumb luck

Just dumb luck

And somewhere waiting down the road

Could be rough times that are real damn slow

I've seen dumb luck come and go

And then come back with a golden glow

I throw my caution to the wind

Get blown away and blown back again

Found the one I love and the love runs deep
