Americans work more and more and get paid less and less.

And every day we hear the lies from Fox News on our TV sets.

They blame our problems on the poor, blame it on the immigrants and while the rich distract us; stab our country in the neck.

What’s a couple hundred in welfare to feed your kids and wife to a $1 million tax cut going to the trust fund kids who never worked a day in their life?

Why didn’t they tell me? We have to live this way.

Why didn’t they tell me? I feel all this pain every day.

Why didn’t they tell me? That things will never change.

Why didn’t they tell me? That you were a poor devil just like me

They turn us into slaves with credit cards and student loans. And soon enough, a bill collectors calling on the telephone.

Nine calls a day every day morning, noon and night. We pay them interest while they sleep and they keep us in debt for the rest of our lives.

The working class must suffer while they bail out the banks.

Our rights are gone. We’re all just pawns and we have only rich Oligarchs to thank.

Don’t let them tell you. You have to live this way.
