Lyrics

As 1 grow old my blood ran so warm I
almost froze. I tried to catch what sunshine brings and
found my heart like stone. I saw myself as one who
gives, as one who can't receive. My hands are cold,
my eyes are black, not from want but just from need.
So I went to the fountain of knowledge, I went to get
a drink. I went to the fountain of knowledge, the
water burned my lips. And there I lost my mind.- No
feeling I can find. Too fast for me to hold, too true
for me to see. So cold I cannot touch, so thick I cannot
breathe. So different they are from me, so different it
is from me. So I stepped back into this world. I saw
the pain of not being able to see. I saw the questions
I knew the answers to. took me shoes off, threw
my hair back and went. I dove into the light, the
water, yes, it cooled my soul. The water opened up
my mind to help me choose right from wrong. From
way down deep inside, some sort of calmness made
me strong. | found a knowledge satisfied. | found the
purpose in my life. When you feel like you're falling
down and there is no place to run, take a look at
yourself to bring out the sun. This song's about you.
