The Green
Marching Orders
Albüm · Reggae · 2017 · The Green
Since forming in 2009, The Green have proven that their Hawaiian sensibilities vibe well with Jamaican reggae, and Marching Orders shows them embracing even more sounds. Swelling keys buoy a positive turn from deejay Busy Signal on the empowering “Marching Orders,” while soulful vocals and a murmuring drum machine make “All I Need” convey the sweet feelings of love, and their slinky take on “Seven Nation Army” feels downright righteous when the band finally burst into full-on rock mode.
