A hard-living band with rollicking riffs and Massachusetts roots, Highly Suspect has found success while pushing the boundaries of rock ’n’ roll.
∙ Although they started out as a cover band in their native Cape Cod, Highly Suspect quickly began to write their own music and self-released their first EP, The First Offense, in 2009.
∙ Mister Asylum, their 2015 debut LP, reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart and earned the band a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album.
∙ The group has two Gold-certified singles, “Lydia” (2015) and “My Name Is Human” (2016), and both received Grammy nominations for Best Rock Song.
∙ Highly Suspect has twice hit No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart—the first time in 2016 for “My Name Is Human,” and again in 2019 with the song “16.”
∙ Their 2019 MCID album featured rappers Young Thug and Tee Grizzley, along with guest appearances from metal band Gojira and rocker Conor Mason of Nothing But Thieves.
