The down-and-dirty New Orleans rock band the Radiators has been entertaining audiences with its Little Feat- and Allman Brothers-style funky extended improvisations since its formation in 1978. Its enduring appeal is based on strong live performances coupled with constant touring -- they set the template for many of the '90s best-known jam bands. With successful appearances at the annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and several successful live and studio albums released throughout the '80s and '90s, the band shows signs of enduring well into the 21st century.
