“The New Room”
The song is named after a 1967 addition to my grandmother’s blue house in Tuscaloosa. When I wrote it, I didn’t know if I could get pregnant—felt like an act of power - if I didn’t have a child, I could celebrate the love made in my relationship
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Producing my forthcoming album “the new room” with a live band / loved ones at Bearded Cat Studio - a fully analog spot in Mystic, Connecticut!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Write an album called “blue Druids” of family stories
