Chasing Daylight hakkında
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
In high school, I went to a conference where Chris Tomlin played ‘Dance in the River.’ As we sang and danced, I felt God’s presence rush over the room like a river. That moment deeply marked me and remains one of my earliest musical memories.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Hillsong UNITED, United We Stand (Live)
John Mayer, Continuum
Steven Curtis Chapman, Speechless
Speechless’ was one of the first albums I owned and shaped how I sing. ‘United We Stand’ pushed my youth group worship team to grow. And ‘Continuum’ showed me how powerful and brilliant an album can be.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Presence”
Presence was the last song I finished, though I started it years ago. I’d always loved the chorus melody but could never find the right words—until suddenly the Lord gave them. The bridge He gave me is my favorite, and I hope it blesses others too.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
One of my most memorable moments has been sharing the songs I believe the Lord entrusted to me. Seeing them touch others while giving all glory back to Him has been incredibly special. It’s His music, from Him and for Him.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I don’t really have a bucket list. If this is all God has for me, I’m grateful for the music and the chance to worship Him through it. And if there’s more ahead, I’m grateful for the chance to keep listening, growing, and sharing.
