Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Our earliest memories come from Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind & Fire, Chaka Khan, classic soul, and groups like Boyz II Men, *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Destiny’s Child, TLC, and SWV. Later, 2000s R&B shaped our love for smooth vocals, hooks, and emotion
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chris Brown, Exclusive (Expanded Edition) Bonus Track Version Ne-Yo, In My Own Words USHER, Confessions (Expanded Edition) Those albums shaped how we think about R&B: Usher gave us honesty and drama, Chris Brown’s Exclusive had movement and hooks, and Ne-Yo’s In My Own Words showed how smooth writing can still hit deep.

Tell us why you chose this song. “New Frequency” “New Frequency” is special because it was the first real stamp of what CTRLZ could sound like. It has that dark R&B energy, but it also feels futuristic and emotional. It opened the door for everything we’re building now.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Seeing unreleased snippets going viral online before the rollout was even ready was wild. People were saving, commenting, asking for titles, and demanding release dates. That made us feel real.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We want to build CTRLZ into a world people can feel, not just hear. The dream is to tour it, hear fans sing the hooks back, and make records that become memories.
