Pianist Alain Lefèvre is a musical institution in his home province of Quebec. He is one of the best-selling classical artists in the province, and he has gained widespread attention for giving concerts for children in schools and hospitals: these have brought him into contact with some 250,000 children. Lefèvre has performed concertos with top orchestras in Canada, the U.S., Europe, and beyond. Notable recordings include André Mathieu: Concerto de Québec & Works for 2 Pianos and 2021's Opus 7: Preludes, one of several collections of his own compositions. Another original work, Consolation, appeared in 2025.
