Fronted by MC brothers El Santo and Tito, Barcelona-based Falsalarma are one of Spain's most successful hip-hop outfits of the 2000s. Having first come to attention with a guest appearance on Frank-T's Frankattack, the two siblings (real names David and Angel Navarro Romero) joined forces with DJ Neas and producer Dycache Santiago to release their debut album, La Revolucion del Sonido, independently in 1997. After signing to influential hip-hop label Avoid, their follow-up, La Misiva, arrived in 2002 and was followed by Alquima (2005), Ley de Vida (2008), and Dramática (2011). All four members have pursued various solo projects over the years, including full-length albums from Santiago (2000's Tacticas y Tecnicas) and Tito (2006's Tito Presenta...Barna Files, Vol. 1). ~ Jon O'Brien
