Jeff Herd hakkında
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
In 1967, when I was eleven, I skipped down the hill at Torquay front beach, singing "Puppet on a String" by Sandie Shaw at the top of my voice, and unexpectedly meeting some neighbours, and feeling free and embarrassed at the same time.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Gene Clark, No Other (Deluxe Edition)
Joni Mitchell, For the Roses
The Beatles, The Beatles (The White Album)
I love the ambition of these three albums. The White Album is a vastly eclectic feast. For the Roses because of the Judgement of the Moon and Stars, a song for Beethoven. No Other for the unique "spiritual" songwriting and brilliant arrangements.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Old Wallflower”
I love the meld of influences (Beatles, Procol Harum/Bach organ), how the lyric compassionately calls on the Old Wallflower part of me to become the Elderflower part of me, and how the harmony vocals lift the end.
