Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was listening to my mother singing bedtime songs to my older brother and me. She was a piano and organ player, and my father was a violin player. They were both enthusiastic singers also.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Pat Metheny Group, Still Life (Talking) The Beatles, A Hard Day's Night Tom Petty, Full Moon Fever It's hard to narrow my breadth of music appreciation down to 3 favorite albums. These three in particular are albums that I can listen to again and again and never get tired of.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “October Homecoming” This invokes feelings of home and connection to the earth and the quietude of a summer evening at dusk in the midwest.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was inducted into the South Dakota Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the band Festival in 2018. That same year I was inducted in the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the bands Cabala and Festival.
