In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember watching my dad's bands play when I was only three or four. I was completely drawn to it, and I saw first-hand what that music meant to the community. I knew that I wanted to do something similar.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Weathervanes Khruangbin, Mordechai Santana, Abraxas Just three? That's pretty hard, so I just grabbed some recent listens.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Howlin' at the Moon” I wanted to write a song that my friends and I could sing around the campfire. It obviously had to be fun, and it needed to align with our values. The result is one of my favorite songs I've ever written, one that achieved exactly what I wanted.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moments are from my work as a music therapist. I've seen incredible things, from children emerging from comas to people with dementia recognizing and dancing with their adult children, all because of the power of music.
