The pseudonym of New Zealand-born, Melbourne, Australia-based musician Ruby Kerkhofs, Nice Girl is a purveyor of dance and electronic grooves that offer simple, carefree fun for the dancefloor. Blending house, techno, and synth pop styles, Nice Girl's first EP was released in 2019. Take a Step and Whistling Thorn appeared in 2020. In 2022, Nice Girl released the EP Look at That Thing, followed a year later by the album Upp, featuring several collaborations with fellow New Zealand musician Michael Kime. The eclectic Yummy appeared in 2024.
