In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is listening to and singing along with 'Yellow Submarine' by The Beatles while the music teacher played the piano during infant school. It was the first time I remember hearing someone perform an instrument live.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Green Day, Dookie Jaya the Cat, More Late Night Transmissions With... Sublime, Sublime These three albums shaped us as a band. Without these albums, we wouldn’t sound like we do! They are the soundtrack to our teenage years.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Can't Be Me Without You” This is the song that started it all. Mallis sent everyone the demo he recorded at home, and that's when the band was born.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Without a doubt, it was to be Yazoo Mountain. No, I won't elaborate.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We would like to tour Europe, for sure. And, we've always wanted to play Glastonbury but haven't managed to get on the line-up yet. If Michael Eaves is reading this, you know what to do.
