In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One early memory was when I dropped 'Rinse & Repeat' in school. Just because this was my first official song and was super proud of myself and actually wanted to show it off compared to my earlier work. Feeling that proud to show your art is special.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Kanye West, The College Dropout
Kid Cudi, Man On the Moon: The End of Day
Mac Miller, Swimming
The first two albums are ones that changed my life completely and set the standard for what I love in Hip-Hop. Swimming is one that I deeply love as well, and it ages better every time I listen. Rest in Peace to one of the Greatest man.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Prelude!”
This was the single for anakin! And it was the song that kind of started the path for me to make the album. Also, whenever I see SKULLY's reaction to the song it gets me hyped every time haha.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
My collective SP! had our first performance at Sundance 2022. It was so dope having family and friends pop out to support and having a fun time. Being able to perform with my brothers was amazing and hella fun, and just a special time I won't forget.
