In the artist’s words:
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Brussells Philharmonic, Dirk Brossé, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Ryuichi Sakamoto - Music For Film
Frank Ocean, Blonde
Jonah Yano, portrait of a dog
It's impossible to pick three albums that are my definitive 'favourites', but these three are honest and careful enquiries into human life, and have soundtracked a huge amount of my experiences.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Sleep, sleep (feat. Mei Semones)”
This song is about discovering something new within yourself. It is a great act of self-compassion to look at and heal from things you’ve gone through, but you do have to put your guard up sometimes to be able to look at those things.
