RIVIT hakkında
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I was 8 years old when my father's friend handmade him an all mahogany acoustic guitar that I took to and began learning to play guitar from Mel Bay book 1. I received an electric guitar on my 13th birthday and that was the beginning.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Alice In Chains, Dirt (Remastered)
Soundgarden, Badmotorfinger (Super Deluxe Edition)
TOOL, Ænima
These records mark a period in time that I most identify with in my own personal musical journey. Everything changed and music was never the same , a new sound and whole new vibe to rock music. I love this period in music history.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“AWAY”
This is the song that started it all. I worked on this song for 4 years and recorded it several times changing things around until we got what we wanted. I absolutely love this song and lyrically, its very personal and Nils really nailed that.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Definitely being able to hear our songs in the car on the local rock station WRIF 101.1 fm in Detroit, Mi. As a kid growing up , this was the station we listened to so hearing your own music on there was surreal.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
This past year has really checked off alot of that bucket list, from hearing our singles play on local rock radio to producing our first vinyl release and the list goes on. I'd say still remaining on the list is getting a sync placement .
