In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time I'd ever written a song I was about nine. I didn't start to actually make music until about 2014 during my freshman year in high school though. I've been working on it consistently ever since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, Take Care (Deluxe Version) J. Cole, The Off-Season Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe Version) The bars & lyricism show a hunger in Cole I hadn't seen in a while. Good Kid m.A.A.d City was like a perfect encapsulation of the struggle of growing up in an inner city and dealing with street ties while trying to stay out the way.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Too Strong For Tears” Too Strong For Tears tells a lot about me. It sums up the entire album in two minutes and tells a deeper story about my psyche and life. Things I've been through and places I want to go. In all one my favorite and most personal cuts on the album.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable smaller moments of my career was me going up to college campuses amid the pandemic to talk to students and share my music with them. We were able to share a lot of fun moments and gain a lot of love through that stuff.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've gotten tons of stops I still want to make. Tons of goals to accomplish and places to go with my artistry. You'll just have to sit back, enjoy the ride, and watch the growth. It's coming, I poromise.
