The first time I heard Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road I was 8 years old in 1975.
My uncle gave it to me for my birthday, and I didn't stop listening to it for 3 months.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Billy Joel, Songs In the Attic (Live)
Indigo Girls, Swamp Ophelia
Joni Mitchell, Blue
All three of these were highly influential in my journey through music.
Confessional, robust, or pared down, all three are highly illustrative of the highest quality songwriting.
