In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was sitting in front of my dad's music set up, playing the music from my parents' collection of cassettes, CDs, and Records from all over the world, and being completely enamored by the colors I was feeling and the stories being told.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Isaiah Rashad, The House Is Burning [homies begged] ROSALÍA, EL MAL QUERER Radiohead, Kid A Each project, I discover something new every time I listen. ROSALIA feels like an older sister to me (who doesn't know I exist) because of the quality of her work: musically intricate and intentional, intense passion, and infectious stage presence.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Working on my new album: it's why I have finally committed myself to a life of art, no matter the risks and consequences. It's proof to me, even if it's not out yet, that I am an artist, and no one can take that away from me. Obsess over the process.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So many things, and only 250 characters to fill! All I know is that: I will work with amazing artists, and I will never stop creating and changing and getting better. I have a long road ahead of me and I am so excited.
