Jam-centric, multi-genre rockers Slightly Stoopid signed their first record deal when they were still in high school and have since released nine studio LPs and four live albums.
∙ The band’s debut LP, 1996’s Slightly $toopid, featured Sublime’s Bradley Nowell playing bass on the secret track “Prophet.”
∙ “Sweet Honey”—from their 2003 album, Everything You Need—was featured in the Eddie Murphy comedy Norbit.
∙ With 2007’s Chronchitis, they diverged from their early punk sound to experiment more heavily with hip-hop, including having Gang Starr’s Guru appear on “The Otherside.”
