In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. It was 2007 and my dad was playing American Gangster, I heard the sample for American Dremain' and I knew I was about to fall in love with hip hop. The use of the sample and how Jay-Z slid on the beat just kept a 6 year old me interested.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bas, Too High to Riot J. Cole, Born Sinner (Deluxe Version) JAY-Z, The Blueprint 3 The Blueprint was the first I heard real rapping and commercially successful hip-hop elements on an album. Born Sinner showed me that I didn't have to be gangster to have a story. Too High to Riot gave me a new outlook on melodies and storytelling.

I always feel the most creative around my birthday. My intros and outros (especially my outros) are the most reflective tracks on the album.
