In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
i received a red portable SONY CD player for my 5th birthday or christmas from my parents, and also got The Beatles' "1" compilation for christmas. I remember listening to that best of record non stop. Has to still be one of my biggest influences.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Haruomi Hosono, Philharmony
IDLES, Joy as an Act of Resistance.
Marina and The Diamonds, The Family Jewels
I think "3 all-time favorite" is a little dumb and arbitrary tbh. My taste changes and 3 will never cover my musical foundation. But for my EP "More", as I finish and listen back, I feel these 3 records come to the fore as references and influences.

i love the intro. as cynical as i may be now about the role and purpose of media in society, my personal relationship with media art remains one of wonder and amazement, and i think that is reflected in the convo in the beginning. i love my friends!!
