Exploding out of the ‘60s rock scene, The Rolling Stones personified the sexy and rebellious side of the British Invasion. The boisterous group built their rip-roaring sound around the swinging, syncopated rhythms of American blues. Soon, they became as well known for the bad boy antics of swaggering frontman Mick Jagger and hard partying lead guitarist Keith Richards as for their unending stream of infectious hits. The Stones would remain prolific for decades, releasing albums well into the ‘00s. Impressively, each of their two dozen-plus studio albums has become certified Gold or Platinum.
