German R&B singer/songwriter Amilli explores the softer, smoother side of the genre, drawing comparisons to Billie Eilish and Jorja Smith.
Hailing from Bochum, Germany, Amilli had been playing piano from a young age, treating music as a personal hobby. In her late teens, she was persuaded to record a few tracks with her friends, which she eventually uploaded online, where they got noticed and drew in a small fan base. The reaction she received encouraged her to continue making music, which materialized on her debut EP, 2019's Wings, and the follow-up EP, 2020's Pulling Punches. ~ Liam Martin
