I feel so shallow, among me are the deepest of waves that are born to swallow Collapse upon me and wash away any success that i create I will not turn my back on the shore that i've known to call my home pulling me under, and the depths keep me stable. when i lose balance i know you are there to level me out when gravity tries to take its pull, we know belief is what held us down. they will never know what we're capable of if we never try to do what they'd expect from us you are my anchor, my surface to catch a breath you are my message, furthest from land. in need of warmth from the sand. i face the fact that i let the abyss consume me. i wouldnt stand a chance afloat when my inhibitions force the sink. i just wanted to be myself isnt that how its supposed to be?
