Defying the voices in my head Burning through my mind Ash is what you will find Destroying the essence of life The hatred and greed in which your Feed's denying our creed of its primal needs Deforestation of entire nations just To make way for your futile creations Annihilation of the foundation of life Simpler times haunt us yet I remain the same Enslaved by your gaze, branded as one of the unworthy Only you are worthy of yourself You'll find nothing better still Collecting dust, you'd keep me Your toy on a high up shelf Ungrateful, incomprehensive, nihilistic word Ungrateful, incomprehensive, nihilistic, word Earth: moved and reshaped to better fit your needs Lungs filled with smoke from the dirty air that you breath All the waters are polluted just like you But the fire inside me still burns!
