The universe is way over my head Stars we see they are already dead Does that mean we cannot move ahead The universe is way over my head Sun always shines but never burns out Not like love overshadowed by doubt Moon always knows when to come out Not like our timing always out The internet is something I don't get Typing overseas like silhouettes Wake up and download a string quartet The internet is something I don't get I read a piece in the New York Times I don't live in New York but I read it online So the world is as small as the universe far And still I don't know where you are I just don't understand I cannot comprehend Je ne comprends pas Yo no entiendo And you my friend I understand the least Less than the wars in the middle East Less than moon making tides flow and ebb Less than the whole of the world wide web The universe is way over my head The internet is something I don't get And the economy it's beyond me But you're the biggest mystery to me
