Slow Down

I had heard it said but I never believed it Sitting at my desk thinking the years would go dragging on If only I had know then I'd be better prepared More than twice my life has gone by in the blink of an eye How can I make it slow down? How can I make it right not just a little bit longer? Just a second longer Will you be around for that much longer? I'm at the point that's a serious question And I remember having these thoughts long ago And I was so scared then when I didn't even know How can I make it slow down?
