Sitting in my bed Staring at the wall Waiting 45 minutes til I really get up I'm not ready to go and face the day Staring at a screen Working constantly Apologies for being kinda hard to reach Text messages I've left on read since May I am so sick of saying everything is fine I see fake smiles on Instagram When we shouldn't even be outside My blue light glasses can't protect What's going on in my mind I'm tired of trying I'm so done with 2020 Cause I'm all sad n lonely Lost touch with my friends Work til I'm dead Feels like this year will never end So done with 2020 Cause I'm all sad n lonely Gonna stay in my bed Picture in my head Everything I'll do if this year ends Cause I don't wanna be Sad n lonely Sad n lonely Taking out loans Emotional regret Zoom University has me in debt Why are we focused on school When we're in a pandemic?
