I used to fall sleep at night, finally close my eyes Up was down, left was right, descend into sleep time Now each morning when I rise and open up my eyes Everything so bright and new, with wonder and surprise Floating in a cloud of Love, watching the sun rise Ascend into waking dream, gently taking flight The end of loneliness is here I never feel afraid I sing from the moment that I wake And dance throughout the day I revel in the morning I thank the afternoon I celebrate each evening Every moment spent with you The day you came and woke me up, to revel in the light Shook the slumber from my eyes, now everything's alright Walking through this waking dream, equals side by side Now every day's a waking dream, much better than the night Canvas of a sea of clouds.
