Shower Thoughts

We wake up early to make coffee For our morning walks down empty side streets We shower at noon and lay back in my bed I wake up in your arms once again Conversation don't come easy, nothing else is in my head Only thing I can think of are the words we haven't said It's taking up my shower thoughts and I know you shower too So why can't we stop thinking and just say The moment we part I swear I blink and that's Sunday again Time flies when you're in love with your best friend They say be cautious of who you give your heart to But I feel safe knowing that my heart is with you Conversation don't come easy, nothing else is in my head Only thing I can think of are the words we haven't said It's taking up my shower thoughts and I know you shower too So why can't we stop thinking and just say Oh, and I get kind of scared When you pause mid-sentence and hold your breath I replay every memory of us in my head Wishing and hoping for the best when I say Conversation it ain't easy but I need you to know That I want you forever and I'll never let you go It's taking up all my shower thoughts and I'm so glad that you do I'll love you till the day I die and probably after that too
