Kaleidoscope

They told me I’ll live forever

When I’ll touch the horizon

So, I’ve been walking to that fine line

Between the sky and the ground

I’m running low on water

Consuming my faith

You see me as a weirdo

That’s digging down a grave

I’ll never feel any pain

With these magical pills

One for the morning

And one to go to sleep

Ocean floods and burning buildings

They look pretty through a kaleidoscope

I walk with half dead bodies

It gets easier when you’re faster than the mean

Chasing fairies on the way

To keep myself entertained

I end up walking in my footprints,

Lost in a desert of sand

They promised and I trust the signs

Gave up identity for eternal life

Got myself close to the divine

That’s a, that’s a real windfall
