It’s all that I’ve known

Pulled from the dark

Brace for the fall

I saw

Flashes of home

Breaking the water

Aching and cold

Raise my arms just for the photo

I could almost say

I was here to stay

Under the waterfall

I call home

The fun of it a summer under setting clouds

You came and went in breath between our open mouths

As cold as our feet

It happened at least
