Last night

you held me for the first time

A gentle breeze blew in

through the

open window

surrounded

by a soft glow

of a candle

burning down

melting every thing around

from my body

to the floor boards

rattling the

windows and doors

so far

in between

reality

and a dream

when the night fades

into the day

and I can’t stop

seeing your face

you are made of

earth and wood

when I lay down to
