We journeyed back in August

Through the tunnel of the rock

We marveled at the darkness

And went on to have that talk

Do you think that it's all light there,

Yes, I believe there is life abundantly.

Warmth and joy beyond compare

There is life at the end of the tunnel.

The seasons come and go, now.

So much to do each day.

There's an emptiness about it

It just seems I've lost my way.

Way too much of life's uncertain

Too much sadness, too much fear

Everything's confusing

So much is unclear.

Wishing you were here.

Crying so many tears.
