Love is just necessary. I think that’s the currency of humanity. Because humanity and community is so complex, I think pain, hurt and trauma is a part of that dynamic existence of humanity and community. Just as much as healing, joy and celebration is a part of it as well. So for me, love is just necessary. It is the fundamental sustaining force in our community.
